Raar

The Raar project took shape during my university years in Trento, where I was studying mechatronic engineering, a field I later graduated in. While my academic background was rooted in structure and formal rules, my musical path had also largely followed genre conventions, spanning EDM electro, dubstep, and drum and bass.

Raar emerged as a response to this context: a project conceived to move beyond predefined frameworks and embrace a fully self-directed creative process. Free from genre boundaries, the project blends digitally crafted basslines with melodic synth elements, organic and ethnic textures, and a combination of synthesized and live-recorded drums.

Over the years, music released under the Raar name has appeared on established labels such as San Holo’s Bitbird, Noisia’s Vision, and KUMO Collective.
